CLASS 18 BASIC ORIENTATION ON GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT (GAD)

On August 29, 2025, the City Population, Gender, and Development Office (POPGAD) conducted a Basic Orientation on Gender and Development (GAD) and Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) at the La Rose Noire Foundation, Inc.
The event, which was actively attended by the scholars of the Foundation's Class 18, aimed to raise awareness on sexual and reproductive health. The program also served as part of POPGAD's technical assistance to partner agencies, helping to mainstream GAD, child welfare, and population and development services.
Ms. Minerva A. Franada, Division Chief of the Technical and Special Services Division, led the orientation on the Basic Concepts of GAD. Following her, Ms. Jenalyn O. Arguelles, Acting Population and Development Unit Head, discussed Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health.
