LA ROSE NOIRE FOUNDATION EMPOWERS RAILWAY-AFFECTED COMMUNITY IN SAN FERNANDO THROUGH LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM
September 24, 2026 - September 25, 2026
On September 24–25, 2026, La Rose Noire Foundation, in partnership with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), conducted a two-day Livelihood Skills Training Program at Barangay Panipuan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The activity was organized for community members affected by the railway project, providing them with practical skills and knowledge that may help them explore additional sources of income and livelihood opportunities.
Throughout the two-day training, participants actively took part in hands-on sessions on preparing a variety of food products, including: Kamote Doughnut, Na'an Bread Pizza, and Cake in a Jar.
More than simply learning how to prepare these products, the participants were given an opportunity to develop practical food production skills that they can potentially turn into small-scale livelihood ventures.
Through this initiative, La Rose Noire Foundation continues to support communities by providing opportunities for skills development, empowerment, and sustainable livelihood. Together with our partners, we strive to equip individuals with knowledge and skills that can help them move forward and create new opportunities for themselves and their families.
