SERVICE CLASS FOR LA ROSE NOIRE FOUNDATION SCHOLARS BY ECOLE HOTELIERE DE LAUSANNE (EHL)

November 17th, 2024

On November 17, 2025, the La Rose Noire Foundation (LRNF) scholars participated in a service class conducted by École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) students. The primary objective was to provide the scholars with a world-class training on hospitality service, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their future careers. The training aimed to elevate their understanding of service excellence, customer relations, and the global standards of the hospitality industry as taught by one of the world's leading hotel schools.

The highlight of the day was a hands-on workshop on fine dining service. The scholars were divided into groups and tasked with setting a formal table. The EHL trainers meticulously guided them, from the proper placement of cutlery and glassware to the correct way of serving a multi-course meal. The scholars were highly enthusiastic, practicing their newfound skills with great focus and precision. A subsequent role-playing activity simulated various service scenarios, challenging the scholars to think on their feet and provide solutions to common customer issues.
